The trout were practically jumping into the boat for us this morning. The shallow grass flats in front of Mangrove point produced some really nice trout for my clients! At one point, we had ourselves a double hook up with two surprise fish - a grouper and a spanish mackerel. After a thrilling morning, we jumped over to the St. Martins Keys, where we rigged up some red 1/4 oz Jim's Jig with live shrimp and let them slow bounce off the bottom into the deep pockets. Today was another successful day on the water, and my clients couldn't have been happier with their bounty.
