REDFISH

The redfish also known as the "red drum" is the most sought after fish on the Nature Coast and in Crystal River. They're known for their strength and always putting up an incredible fight.
SPECKLED SEA TROUT
year round
Although you can catch Sea Trout year round, there are certain times of the year it's better to target them. The Sea Trout are very fun to target and a great tasting fish!
TRIPPLE TAIL
march - may
It's always a good hunt looking for the Tripple Tail as they tend to take cover around floating objects or pilings in the water.
SNOOK
year round
The Snook is one of the smartest and fiercest fish species to fish for on the Nature Coast. It takes a special angler to be able to track down and land this striped beauty!
COBIA
April - July
Hooking into a Cobia is every fisherman's goal when fishing near shore! This is a fight that will leave your arms numb!
GAG GROUPER
June 1st - December 31st
One of Capt Zac's favorite fish to target is the Gag Grouper! Our gags are different to fish for here on the Nature Coast as we fish for them in shallow water during the cooler months of the year and the first part of the summer.
GULF FLOUNDER
year round
Although we don't go out and target these flat sided fish, there is always a chance to bag one when inshore fishing in Crystal River.
